Yes, you can fly to the Bangkok and then go with taxi. Is maybe 90 minutes driving and should pay 1000 baht or maybe a little more. Or can stay the Bangkok for a while, because there too have very nice time.

You travel from Suvarhabhumi in BKK,there is an airport near Pattaya called Utapao i think, but it only serves the Ivans who have a deal with the Thai government to land there.
